The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the provision and management of cost‑effective nursing care to individuals and families in the hospice setting. Care is delivered within Carefor’s quality and risk management framework and in accordance with the standards and scope of practice established by the Ontario College of Nurses. The RN provides clinical leadership, teaches and delegates tasks to regulated and unregulated care providers, and ensures high‑quality, client‑centred care.
